🌍 A Letter from the Frontlines: Global South Youth to HSBC

Across the Global South, young people are bearing the brutal impacts of a crisis they didn’t create. From heavy rains in the Congo basin, to severe droughts in Southern Africa. From widespread and persistent extreme heat waves across South and Southeast Asia to cyclones on the East African coast and in Bangladesh, and hurricanes in the Caribbean, communities are experiencing continuous loss and disruption to their our daily lives, with extreme event after extreme event. 

How do young people plan for their futures when this is their reality? 

This is more than a letter to HSBC from Global South Youth. It is an urgent call to action. A call for Climate Justice.
